DAN JUN
BREATHING EXCERCISE
(USED TO DEVELOPE KI)

This is a very special exercise used to develope your Ki. Ki is centralized (internal) energy that every human being is born with. Every technique in Hoi Jeon Moo Sool is designed around the principle of Ki and you can only really master them when you have properly developed your own Ki.  Your Ki Center, where your Ki or superhuman power is generated, is located about 1 & 1/2 to 2 below your navel. Once you have mastered Dan Jon you can summon up to 2 to 3 times your normal strength when you need it.

STATIONARY DAN JON

With RF forward and hands down to your sides breath in deeply and push your hands forward in an upward arch with your palms facing each other pushing your breath out as you bring your hands over your head. Now, pull your hands down in the oposite motion as you did bringing them over your head while breathing in deeply.

Note: You must tighten your stomach muscles, around your Ki Center, during this process. You should practice this method of breathing in everyday life to develope your Ki as a natural thing for you.

1 STEP DAN JON

With RF forward and hands down to your sides breath in deeply, then step forward with your LF pivoting 180 CW as you push your hands forward in an upward arch with your palms facing each other pushing your breath out as you bring your hands over your head. Now, step back with your LF pivoting 180 CCW returning to your original position as you pull your hands down in the oposite motion as you did bringing them over your head while breathing in deeply.
