FORM #6 SELF-DEFENSE TECHNIQUES

SELF-DEFENSE BASIC FORM

 

1.  From a RF forward stance with your RH out in front as if it has been grabbed, Beggie #1 finishing up facing your original rear.

2.  From a RF forward stance with your RH out in front as if it has been grabbed facing your original rear, with your RH at waist level point your RH index finger to your left as you spin CCW dragging your LF behind you to face your original front. Take a slight step forward with your RF dragging your LF as you push your RH forward (fingers up and palm-out still at waist level).

3.  From a RF forward stance with your RH out in front as if it has been grabbed, step forward with your LF placing your RH at the small of your back while taking another step forward with your RF and pivoting 180 degrees CCW to your original rear with LF forward.

4.  From a LF forward stance facing your original rear with your LH out in front as if it has been grabbed, do Beggie #7.

5.  From a LF forward stance facing your original rear with your LH out in front as if it has been grabbed, do Beggie #9 pivoting CW 180 degrees stepping back with your RF into a RF forward stance facing your original rear.

6.  From a RF forward stance, do Beggie #10 blocking an overhead punch and pulling your hands downward to your right side, no step is required.

7.  From a RF forward stance facing your original rear with your RH out in front as if it has been grabbed, grab his hand with your LH and use RH arm bar as you pivot 180 degrees CCW sliding your LF behind you. You should now be in a RF forward stance facing your original front.

8.  From a RF forward stance and your RH out in front as if it has been grabbed, grab his wrist with your LH and swing your R-Arm CW sliding your LF behind you as you pivot 180 degrees to your original rear in a RF forward stance and your right arm out in front of your body.

9.  From a RF forward stance and your R-Arm out in front as if it has been grabbed, swing your R-Arm CW in front of your body as you take a LF step forward followed by a RF step into a 180 degree pivot dragging your LF to your rear.  You should now be facing your front with a RF forward stance.

10. From a RF forward stance, point your right index finger toward the ground and left index finger to the sky and step forward with your LF pivoting CW 180 degrees to your original rear as you reverse the positions of your R & L Hands. Your RH should be above your head palm-up with your RF forward (facing your original rear) as you continue with your CW pivot by sliding your RF CW for another 180 degree pivot. The foot work is done in one motion resulting in a complete 360 degree CW hoi jeon. You should now be facing your original front in a RF forward stance.

11. From a RF forward stance and both hands out in front of you at waist level as if they have been grabbed, point both index fingers to your left and spin CCW 180 degrees sliding your LF behind you, now, facing your original rear, take a slight step forward with your RF dragging your LF behind while pushing both palms forward (Ki-Nuh-Ki #6).

12. From RF forward stance and both hands out in front of you at waist level as if they have been grabbed, point both index fingers to your left as you spin 180 degrees CCW sliding your LF behind you (now, facing your original front change the direction of the spin to CW) as you step back with your RF pivoting 180 degrees bringing your hands over your head as you come to face your original rear and take a LF step forward bringing your hands down in front of your body as you continue your pivot to face your original front. This should all be done in one smooth, unbroken motion.

13. From a RF forward stance, do a Beggie #10 overhead punch block moving with a 2-step CW Hoi Jeon ending with a LF forward stance facing your original rear.

14. From the end of #13, pivot 180 degrees into a 2-step Hoi Jeon Ki-Nuh-Ki double hand punch block. You should now be facing your original rear in a LF forward step.

15. From the end of #14 above, pivot 180 degrees to face your original front with both hands out in front as if they have been grabbed. Step forward with your LF as you bend both wrists pointing both hands straight down bringing your hands up to head level (arms straight), arc your arms downward to below your waist as you begin a CW spin sliding your RF behind and bringing your arms up to head level as you complete the spin/pivot. You should now be facing your original rear.
