#2 SELF DEFENSE TECHNIQUES
CHIGGI
WRIST FREEING & COUNTERING (striking)

 

Note: All techniques below are performed from a straight grab, specifically, LH grabbed by RH.

1. Strike his Left wrist with your RH bow wrist and follow through with circle step forward  45 to your left through his grip.

2. Strike his Left wrist with your Right elbow and follow through as in #1 above.

3. RH knife hand strike to nerve center on his Right wrist followed by RH Knife Hand to the Right side of his neck, then follow up with circle punch.

4. RH knife hand strike to nerve center on the inside of his right elbow and follow through as in #3 above.

5. Middle knuckle (palm-up) to his solar plexus with opposite hand followed up with a circle punch.

6. Swing grabbed arm out and strike the ribs under his arm with your free hand (knife hand) and follow up with circle punch as done in #5 above.

7. Front knuckle spear hand to his throat with your free hand followed up with a circle punch.

8. Take a small step forward with your RF grabbing his wrist with your LH and pull his wrist over your head pulling him across your body (his blind side facing you) disturbing his balance and strike his exposed ribs with a knife hand (from your now freed hand) and follow and step through to his blind side for an elbow to his ribs

9. Side Grab - Slight-step toward your opponent to strike his wrist with knife hand (to his nerve center) followed by a knife hand to his neck then a circle punch

10. Side Grab - Same as #8

11. Both hands grabbed from the front - Step forward 1/4 step with your RF grabbing his LH with your LH as you pull his arm up over and past your head (to your Left) followed by a RH Knife-Hand to his ribs and a CW 360 circle punch.

12. Both hands grabbed from the front - Step forward 1/4 step with your RF grabbing his LH with your LH as you pull his arm down and past your left hip up followed by a RH Knife-Hand to his ribs and a CW 360 circle punch.

13. RH grabbed by both hands -  Reach for your Right fist with your LH and pull straight up, then follow-up with a RH Back Fist and 360 CW Circle Punch.

14. RH grabbed by both hands - Point your Right index finger at his Left toe as in Beggie #1 bringing your arm over your head as you grab his Left upper arm with your RH driving your elbow down into his Left shoulder bringing him to the ground.

15. RH grabbed by RH - Slide your RH over his RH swinging your Right Elbow in an upward arch to strike your opponent in the jaw or side of the head.

16. RH grabbed by his RH - Swing your Right Arm CW 360 reversing the grab with your LH bringing his hand up over and beyond (to your left) followed by a RH Knife Hand strike to his ribs and a Circle Punch.

17. RH grabbed by his RH - Circle your RH  CW breaking free followed by a palm-heel strike to his chin.

18. RH grabbed by RH - Swing your RH in a small CCW circle reversing the grab on your RH and proceed as in #8 above.

19. Both hands grabbed from behind - Twisting your upper body from side to side striking the inside of your opponents elbows with your elbows.

20. Both hands grabbed from behind - Bring both hands, Knife Hand facing to your front, up and straight out to your front, a thrusting motion, as you thrust your back into the chest of your attacker.
