FORM #1 HAND STRIKING TECHNIQUES

ONE DIRECTION PUNCH TECHNIQUES

 

Note: all techniques below are written for RF forward stance, you should be able to do all of them with LF forward stance.

1.  Slide your RF forward dragging your LF behind as you strike with RH palm-up middle knuckle punch to the solar plexus and step forward again with RF dragging your LF for a RH inside to outside backfist. The backfist should be done from your left hip with a CW arc cresting at the face of your opponent using your shoulder and upper body for more power. Do all the following backfists like this.

2.  Slide your RF forward dragging your LF behind for a double palm heel to his temples, sinus cavities, or jaw a followed by another step forward with your RF, dragging your LF behind, as you use a palm heel strike to his chin.

3.  Slide your RF forward dragging your LF behind for an outside/inside RH elbow strike using your shoulder and upper body in an arcing motion for power ending with your RH at your left hip. Now step forward with your RF again dragging your LF behind for a RH backfist.

4.  Slide your RF forward dragging your LF behind for an outside to inside 45 degree angle RH knife hand strike to his neck bringing your RH up to the left side of your face (high) followed by an inside to outside 45 degree angle RH knife hand strike to the other side of his head/neck as you step forward with your RF dragging your LF behind.

5.  Slide your RF forward dragging your LF behind as you strike opponents' neck from underneath with a palm-down knuckle hand punch followed by a backfist as described above with RF step forward. Note: the Knuckle hand punch is similar to a spear hand but your fingers are bent at the second joint (the second one nearest the finger tips)

6.  Slide your RF forward grabbing his throat with Tigers' Mouth (hand palm-down with thumb and index finger opened wide), once you grab his throat, step back with your RF pulling his throat down to your R-Side.

7.  Swing your R-Arm out in front of you as you step forward with your RF bringing your RH above your head for a downward knife hand strike directly to your front and a RH backfist with RF step.

8.  Slide your RF forward dragging your LF behind as you strike with an outside to inside RH thumb knuckle punch to his temple followed by a RH backfist and RF step.

9.  Slide your RF forward dragging your LF behind as you strike with an inside to outside RH eye rake (fingers spread backhand style).

10. With RF forward, x-step behind with your LF for an elbow strike to his chest.
